Free time activities
I have organized many successful Free Software events in Tallinn. I am member of team which develops and uses Estobuntu - a Kubuntu derivative with out-of-box Estonian ID-card support. I have experience building and programming Atmega microprocessor boards.
Work experience
I had my practical training at Indifex while working on Transifex, an open-source translation platform written in Python. The main task involved creating a plugin subsystem for Transifex.
I participated on Google Summer of Code in 2009 with a project related to Maemo. The work resulted in BitTorrent plugin for Canola.
In 2010 I took part of Google Summer of Code again with a Qt4 project. The work is still in progress but a usable version of Transifex Mobile is available in Maemo software repositories.
I am one of the founders of Povi Software OÜ, a company dedicated to Free Software development in Estonia.
Higher education: Estonian IT College (2007-...)
I am studying IT systems development in Estonian IT College. The education combines both IT and telecommunications.
I spent second year studying in Vaasa University of Applied Sciences as exchange student. Elion, EMT, Swedbank and Tallinn city have supported my studies.
High school: Tallinna Reaalkool (2004-2007)
Tallinna Reaalkool (Tallinn Secondary Science School) is a science school with emphasis on math, physics, chemistry. On final exams I scored 93% in math and 91% in physics.
During my studies I wrote research project about Speaker enclosure design and construction in 2006. I participated on the National final of Olympiad of Informatics several times with success.
